The hotel is just opposite the bus station and the railway station just behind the bus station. Good service, friendly people, although language is a problem, the staff tried their best to keep our stay pleasant. Yes the beds are Hard, but i think the people there prefer it that way. There is a jogging track on top of the bus station, you can see people going for their morning walk.
Best place to stay if you are on a budget.

It is a three star hotel, very close to Guangzhou East Railway station, about 4-5 minutes on foot. One can catch trains to Hong Kong, Shenzhen from this station. The Bus station, MRT station and a Big Mall is just at the opposite side of the hotel. The Mall has many good store and food stores. There is a McDonald nearby. The surrounding area is good. Taxis are easily available from the street in front of the hotel.

5 minute walk from the GZ East Railway Station.
Many restaurant and shopping options outside.

Star Hotel is very conveniently located near the Guangzhou Railway station near to tianhe belu.
As per their tariff, rooms are very good in size and cleanliness. Staff is very cooperative, services are very good. I have some great golden memories associated with this hotel and because of that it will always remain my favorite hotel in town...:)..

The room is clean and the decoration is nice. Very great location, within 5 minutes walk to GZ East Railway Station and Metro. There is also plenty of shops and restuarant just underground of the hotel. Moreover, one big department store JUSCO and IKEA furniture are just nearby. Price is cheap relatively to this quality.

Location is ok if you are coming in from Shenzhen or Hong Kong. Also, there is a sizable shopping mall within walking distance.
